He commenced his academic career at one of Tamil Nadu’s oldest and most respected dental institutions—Tamil Nadu Government Dental College and Hospital. Affiliated with the esteemed Dr. MGR Medical University, this institution laid the foundation of his profound knowledge in dental surgery. In 2002, he was awarded his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), emerging as a standout graduate known for his inquisitive mind and precise clinical skills.
Keen to specialize and make a meaningful difference in children’s oral health, Dr. Hariharan pursued postgraduate training in Pediatric Dentistry. He relocated to Mysore, Karnataka, to study at the JSS Dental College & Hospital, an institute recognized for its robust academic curriculum and intensive clinical training. Over the course of three years, he was immersed in advanced pediatric dental education, with a particular focus on child behavior management, preventive care, early intervention, and restorative procedures.
In 2008, he earned his Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Pediatric Dentistry from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
Following the completion of his postgraduate studies, Dr. Hariharan made the strategic decision to return to Chennai, his hometown, with a clear objective—to create a specialized space where children’s dental health is approached with expertise and empathy. With this vision, he founded Kidz n Teenz, a pediatric-focused dental care center known for its holistic approach to child-friendly dentistry.
